A whole night at the VLT
This time-lapse video shows the night falling on ESO's Very Large Telescope. As the sky turns dark, the majestic sight of the Milky Way becomes visible, along with other wonders of the southern sky.
In the foreground, two of the VLT's four Unit Telescopes at work are visible.
