Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS meets the ESO Supernova (zoomed-in view)

This short clip shows comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) photographed from the ESO Headquarters in Garching bei München, Germany. The clip begins with a wide-field view of the comet above the ESO Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre. It then zooms in to reveal more details such as the comet's anti-tail – a thin disc of dust particles around the comet that looks like a spike when seen edge-on.

Both the wide-field image and the zoomed-in one are the result of stacking many frames to reveal faint structures that are otherwise hard to discern.
