The Crab Nebula
An excerpt from the Planetarium Show "The Hot and Energetic Universe".
The Crab Nebula is observed in different wavelengths. It is a supernova remnant in the constellation of Taurus about 6,000 light-years away, and corresponds to a bright supernova recorded by Chinese astronomers in 1054.
