ALMA from the air

This aerial video begins near the ground of the Chajnantor Plateau, at 5000 metres altitude in the Chilean Andes. The video camera being used is mounted to a hexacopter and as it begins its ascent we get a magnificent view of the antennas that make up the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA).
