Size comparison between the E-ELT and other telescope mirrors
An infographic that compares the size of the European Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT) main mirror with that of other major ground-based telescopes, either in operation or planned. The E-ELT, with a main mirror 39 metres in diameter, will be the largest optical/near-infrared telescope in the world. It was inspired by an infographic made by Wikipedia Author Cmglee.
