This chart shows the location of the globular cluster Messier 107, also known as NGC 6171, within the constellation of Ophiuchus (the Serpent Bearer). This map shows most of the stars visible to the unaided eye under good conditions and NGC 6171 itself is highlighted with a red circle on the image.
