Chief scientific adviser to the European Commission, Anne Glover, visits ESO’s Paranal Observatory

On 16 March 2013, the Chief Scientific Adviser to the European Commission, Prof. Anne Glover, visited ESO’s Paranal Observatory. Upon arriving, she was welcomed by ESO’s Director General, Prof. Tim de Zeeuw.

This picture was taken on the platform of the Very Large Telescope just before subset. The four Unit Telescope domes appear in the background along with the smaller dome of the VLT Survey Telescope.
