ESO VLT wins US Technology Prize
The ESO Very Large Telescope (VLT) was one of 1998's winners of the coveted Best of What's New prize by the US Popular Science magazine. This plaque was presented to the VLT Project Manager, Professor Massimo Tarenghi, in the award ceremony in New York on November 13, 1998.
