September - The Tarantula Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud
This gigantic star-forming region in the Milky Way’s neighbour galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud, is the birthplace of an astonishing number of massive stars, some of which are as large as 300 solar masses.
