NGC 3169 and NGC 3166 in the constellation of Sextans
This chart shows the location of the disturbed pair of galaxies NGC 3169 and NGC 3166 within the constellation of Sextans (The Sextant). This map shows most of the stars visible to the unaided eye under good conditions, and the galaxies are marked as red ellipses within a red circle. Through a moderate-sized amateur telescope these objects can easily be seen as two faint glows.
