The contract to polish the E-ELT secondary mirror
ESO and French company Reosc have signed a contract for polishing the remarkable secondary mirror of the European Extremely Large Telescope. This will be the largest telescope secondary mirror ever built, and indeed the largest convex mirror ever built.
