Paranal sunset
A setting Sun over the Pacific ocean casts its final rays towards one of the Very Large Telescope's (VLT) 8.2-metre Unit Telescopes. Located at ESO's Paranal Observatory in northern Chile, the VLT consists of four Unit Telescopes and four 1.8-metre Auxiliary Telescopes.
