A celebration of MUSE at the Observatoire de Lyon
On 6–7 September 2013, the Observatoire de Lyon opened its doors to the press and scientific community for two days of presentations, tours of the recently completed MUSE instrument for ESO’s Very Large Telescope in Chile. In attendance were the French Minister of Higher Education and Research, Geneviève Fioraso and the ESO Director General, Tim de Zeeuw.
This picture shows members of the MUSE Consortium along with the following ESO staff in front of the instrument: Christophe Dupuy, Roland Reiss, Joel Vernet, Frédéric Derie, Andreas Glindemann, Nicolas Haddad, Antonio Manescau, Gerard Zins, Mylene Francois and Johan Kosmalski.
