Map of the CTA's location and layout
This bird's eye view shows the relative locations of ESO's Very Large Telescope, the site of the future Extremely Large Telescope, and the site of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) — all located at or near ESO's Paranal Observatory. The planned layout of the CTA's 99 telescopes is also illustrated.
