ELT Nasmyth focus
Artist´s rendering of one of the ELT Nasmyth foci, equipped with some of the instruments currently studied: METIS (Mid-Infrerred ELT Imager and Spectrograph) and MICADO (the Multi-adaptive Optics Imaging Camera for Deep Observations).
The instrument locations and the design for the ELT shown here are preliminary.
